Nocton Parish Council

Vacancy

You might like to know there is a vacancy on Nocton Parish Council, following the resignation of Councillor Peter Askew after many years of service to the village.

Peter - your work for the public good has been much appreciated - thank you.

Retirement

Furthermore, the Clerk to the Parish Council, Doreen Green, has decided the time is right for her to retire from Parish duties. The Parish Council meeting on Tuesday (4th September) will be her last official meeting as Clerk.

Doreen has served the Parish over many years and has seen many Councillors come and go during her time of tenure. Doreen's replacement will be Mr Stephen Altridge.

Doreen - I'm sure the local community will want me to wish you all the very best in your retirement following the many years of service for others.
