I have looked at the plans online and this appears to be the work that is being carried out. You can view the plans for yourself on the NKDC planning online webpage using the search facility and reference numbers quoted.

12/0417/PRIOR - Wellhead Lane – bridge renewal works scheduled from 28/02/2013 to 19/04/2013 with supporting road closures from 30/03/2013 to 08/04/2013.
12/0418/PRIOR - Lincoln Lane – bridge renewal works scheduled from 15/01/2013 to 10/04/2013 with supporting road closures from 03/04/2013 to 15/04/2013.
Further details of the work and road closures/diversions will be publicised nearer the time and notification letters will be issued to residents living adjacent to the railway to advise of the work in advance.
