Theft in Nocton

Burglary

Please be aware, thieves are operating in our area.

This is a message on behalf of the Washingborough & Metheringham Local Policing Team, on Friday 23rd August 2013.

Between 23:00 hrs on Thursday 22nd and 06:00 hrs on 23rd August, unknown offender/s are believed to have used secateurs to cut through the lock of a shed located at a property on Wellhead Lane in Nocton. The offender/s have carried out a search of the shed and have stolen a Giant Yuken cycle, which is described as being silver and bronze in colour. Incident 73 23/08/2013 refers.

Offender/s have also attempted to break into the detached garage of a property on School Lane in Nocton. The door handle has been snapped off and an attempt to jemmy the door made. There has also been an attempt to force the window. Incident 157 23/08/2013 refers.
