There is a Parish Council meeting on Tuesday 5 November 2013 at 7pm. There will be an opportunity to hear from Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd and Beeswax Farming about the proposed wind farm development at Nocton Fen.

'A meeting of NOCTON PARISH COUNCIL will be held in the Village Hall, Main Street, Nocton on TUESDAY, 5 NOVEMBER, 2013 AT 7.00 PM.
N.B: The meeting will commence with a presentation to the Parish Council from Ms Rahel Jones, Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd, on its proposals for a wind farm at Nocton Fen. Mr Robert Hall has also agreed to attend the meeting to put forward the views of Beeswax Farming and to provide a statement from the Dyson Family about the proposals.
Whilst the public will be welcome to attend the meeting and hear the presentation, at this stage there will not be an opportunity for questions. Instead, arrangements will be put in place for public meetings, etc with the developers once more detail about its proposals are made available.'
Unanimous rejection for Hemswell Cliff wind farm plans
'Hundreds clapped and cheered as Lincolnshire councillors unanimously rejected a proposal to build a wind farm near Hemswell Cliff, north of Lincoln.'
