  1. A word about the 76 wind turbine farm that Vattenfall is to be built in South Wales. Countryside lovers who have been fighting the proposal for 2 decades, said the farm would be ugly and ruin the local landscape of hills and valleys, according to media sources. But it was very much a case of David and Goliath. The 443 feet high turbines will be spread across up to 155 acres. And apparently the RSPB actually backed the building of this wind farm!! Many would say it is a case of short term gain for long term losses.
It would seem that opponents of the proposed Nocton wind farm have one almighty battle on their hands.
