I have suggested a number of times to our local Village Hall Management Committee that they produce a similar style of online calendar as those published by Dunston and Scopwick. These are excellent for showing the whole picture of bookings and events that are to be held. Hopefully the new committee would like to consider taking this idea forward in 2014.
I am always happy to promote events on this blog too, but all too often am left being proactive to obtain the information for publishing. We need to give maximum exposure to maximise the occupancy rate of our Village Hall, so if organisers of functions have something to advertise, please feel free to drop me a poster in a .jpeg image file.
