Re-opened and thriving
As the new Chequers closes on its first month of re-opening, almost 2,000 meals have been served and close to 6,000 pints of beer poured to the good people of Potterhanworth, Nocton and beyond.... THANK YOU ALL for your amazing support and patience as we gear up to meet the unprecedented demand that has surpassed all our expectations. [5th August 2017]
The Chequers village store serving Potterhanworth and Nocton. Opens Weds 23rd August and every day 8am to 8pm selling a basic range of groceries, fruit and veg, milk, bread, ice creams, toiletries etc. Dry cleaning. Parcel delivery/ collection. Newspapers and magazines from Weds 30th Aug. Cafe also open seven days 8am to 5pm. Tea, coffee, cakes, snacks, breakfasts. Take away available on some items. Free delivery Nocton and Potterhanworth for OAP's and disabled. Over £5 goods also delivered free. [22nd August 2017]
Pleased to report we can now accept credit cards, debit cards, contactless cards, Apple Pay, Google pay for MasterCard, Viss and American Express for all transactions. No minimum spend. [12th July 2017]
